Seniors Give Thanks in GraditudePublished on Apr 08, 2014
Congratulations, Seniors! You have made it to the end of your undergraduate career. It was a long and trying journey, but you did it! There were surely people along the way who helped you achieve your success and you’ll never be too old or too professional to thank those who deserve it.
If you haven’t had a chance to thank them, or didn’t know just how to do it, Columbia is here to help!
The Graditude Campaign
Columbia’s Student Communications Department created the Graditude Campaign so that you can show your family and friends just how grateful you are for their love and support.
“In the big rush of graduation we forget to say thanks to our family and friends who helped us while at Columbia,” says Eric Sluga, graphic designer for Student Communications. “Recording a Graditude message is a great way to give a personal ‘thank you’ in a cool way that you know will be appreciated.”
Here’s how you can give thanks:
Stop by the office (916 S. Wabash, Room 302) during the following times to record a 15-second video thank you message for your loved ones.
- Thursday May 1, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
- Friday May 2, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
- Monday May 5, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
- Tuesday May 6, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
- Wednesday May 7, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
All the Graditude videos will be uploaded to YouTube in five-minute blocks for the world to see. Make your 15 seconds the best and most unforgettable thanks you’ve ever given. Who knows? It could go viral!
