The Conaway Center is an open layout, multi-purpose events space and student hangout area. The space has an open floor plan, making it customizable for many types of events. Appropriate events include concerts, dance, theater, panel discussions, job fairs, conferences, and fashion shows.
Important Note: The Conaway is an open space for students at all times. We do not block the space off for rehearsals, soundchecks, or private events. Please keep in mind that any activities that are planned in this space may be witnessed by members of the Columbia community and that DEPS will not approve requests to block off the space for privacy.
The Conaway Center is subject to the normal building hours of 1104 S. Wabash. Please click here for the most up to date building hours.
ALL DEPS spaces must be requested through the Space Scheduler (see our Events Planning Checklist here for details). No space use is approved until an official, personalized confirmation email is sent by the DEPS Events Coordinator.
