Not on Paper
February 16 - March 16
Not On Paper, an exhibition hosted by the Hokin Project Gallery, showcases Columbia College Chicago’s Illustration Department as directed by three faculty curators: Chris Arnold, Ivan Brunetti and Chris Eliopoulos. Working with a select group of senior students and recent alumni who demonstrate a wide range of talent using various mediums, resulting in a very personal and modern definition of illustration and its expression through art, narrative and design.
Not On Paper comprises a core of 18 artists and illustrators producing large-scale, singular projects and collaborations that display the breadth and diversity of their practice through a collection of site-specific creation. Work will present a range of media disciplines from mural, animation, design, painting and installation while featuring a diversity in perspective, concept and execution.
