Leaving the College

Students are strongly encouraged to see their academic advisors in the College Advising Center before deciding to leave Columbia. This is a decision which involves a loss of time, effort, tuition, and credit. This decision should be considered carefully in consultation with an academic advisor. In the event a student decides to no longer attend Columbia, the student must return all school property and make necessary financial arrangements with Student Financial Services prior to departure. The deadline for withdrawing from classes is listed in the college calendar for each semester. For more information visit: colum.edu/exitcounseling
