Residence Life Tutors

Chris Nottoli is a senior at Columbia majoring in Acoustics. From a suburb of Chicago called Lemont, his favorite subject is math and his favorite class taken so far at Columbia is "Studies and Hearing." In his spare time, Chris enjoys playing his guitar and spending time with friends. His favorite part of living in Chicago is that "there is never a day where you can't find something to do." Chris enjoys being a Residence Life tutor because he can use his talents to help other students understand and appreciate math. He encourages all students to attend Residence Life tutoring at least once, as it's a free service to all students in the residence halls.

Justin Terry, from Madison, Wisconsin, is a junior here at CCC. As a Game Programming major, his favorite class so far has been Physics of Musical Instruments. His hobbies are running, Netflix, and spending quality time with friends. Justin enjoys Chicago because of the diversity in culture and activities made possible by living in a bustling city. His best subjects are math, science, and sometimes music, and he enjoys tutoring because it gives him a chance to help students understand the material better. Justin encourages students to take advantage of Residence Life tutoring because it is a wonderful, free resource that allows you to make the most of your education!

Eric Somogyi, born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, is a senior majoring in Audio for Visual Media with a minor in Marketing Communications. Eric's favorite class so far is Post-Production Audio II. He is the pianist in the Groove ensemble and has been enrolled in private music lessons for 13 years. His best subjects are math, science, and audio. He is also the Audio Arts & Acoustics Senator of the Student Government Association and is an active member in the Audio Engineering Society Columbia Chapter. Eric plans on attending Berklee College of Music to pursue his M.A. in Scoring Music for Film, Television, and Video Games.
