Pop-Up Manifest: Text to Win up to $1000!

There’s a lot to Manifest. Music. Exhibits. Performance. Films. Weirdness. it’s hard to tell people all about it. So we’re outsourcing the job to you.

As you walk around the South Loop on Friday, May 13th we want you to text us when you see or hear something you like. Every text you send will show up in real time on the Manifest website, creating a living, breathing ‘pulse’ of this year’s festival. Ten lucky, randomly selected people who share their Manifest experience with us via text will win $100 and 20 more will win gift cards from Blick Art Supplies worth $100 each, the official sponsor of Pop-Up Manifest. One extraordinarily lucky individual will win $1000. That’s $4,000 total dollars up for grabs … for texting.

To participate, text a message to 894546 wherever you are, whatever you are doing. The shortcode won’t be activated until May 13th, 2011.

Look for the “Pop Up Manifest” symbol wherever you go, and be sure to include the #Keyword anywhere in the body of your message. Each time you do, your message will ‘pop up’ on the Manifest website, and you’ll increase your chances of winning cash … or a check actually.
