Reserving Your Tickets
Visit the online ticket reservation to reserve your tickets here.
Remember that if you haven’t applied to graduate yet, you cannot reserve your tickets. Apply to graduate now!
The online ticket reservation system is now open to graduating students for the 2012 commencement ceremonies being held at the historic Chicago Theater May 5th and 6th. Each graduate is guaranteed six tickets for their guests. To request more tickets or to donate unneeded tickets, each student must make their reservation online so extra tickets can be easily distributed. Students who need extra tickets should be aware that the tickets are distributed on a first come, first serve basis, but more then six tickets cannot be guaranteed. Ticket registration will close one week prior to the commencement ceremony.
Students can request their tickets by logging into the online ticket reservation system and following the instructions.
Ticket distribution will be on April 17, 18, 24 and 25 between 11am and 3pm in the Conaway Center | 1104 S. Wabash Ave. Students will need to bring their student I.D. to claim their tickets.
Students should also be aware that in order to receive tickets, they must have completed the application to graduate and gone through the needed process. Students who have not completed the necessary steps may not be able to graduate in May. If you have not submitted your application, please do so immediately by logging onto OASIS and following the instructions there.
So, graduates do your part in this year’s 2012 commencement and let us know if you have extra tickets so your roommate’s uncle can attend or maybe even get an extra ticket for your grandma!

I reserved my tickets late. How will I find out if I was able to get them or not?
E-mail Commencement@Colum.edu.
My family is coming to Chicago for my son’s May 5 commencement. He has an internship in Skokie, and won’t be downtown on Tues. & Wed. April 24-25 to pick up his tickets. Can you hold them until Thursday when he’s downtown for classes, or does he have to lose hours from his internship to pick up the tickets? Please advise. Thank you!
Hi Tamara,
You can have you son fill out a proxy form to have someone else pick up his tickets for him. More information can be found at colum.edu/commencement.
Thanks!
