Join Us at the 2019 Internship Fair
Columbia College Chicago is pleased to announce the 2019 Internship Fair on February 13, 2019, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm!
By attending this event, Columbia’s renowned pool of diverse talent in arts and media will become familiar with your organization and get a glimpse of your company's mission and culture.
Columbia College Chicago offers 49 undergraduate majors and 12 graduate-level degree programs in arts and media–including advertising, art history, animation, audio arts and acoustics, business, cinema-television arts, creative writing, communication, cultural studies, dance, design, fashion, illustration, interactive arts and media, marketing, multi-media journalism, music, photography, social media, theatre, and more.
Reserve a table to recruit for your unpaid and/or paid internships.
Registration rates before January 11, 2019:
- $125 General Employers
- $100 Columbia Alumni Employers (alumni status will be verified)
- $75 Non-profit (must be registered as a Non-Profit org)
Registration rates after January 11, 2019:
- $150 General Employers
- $125 Columbia Alumni Employers (alumni status will be verified)
- $100 Non-profit (must be registered as a Non-Profit org)
Discounted rates will be adjusted by the Career Center staff.
Registration includes:
- Booth with one (1) six-foot table and two (2) standard chairs
- Lunch for two (2) recruiters
- Company listing in Internship Fair promotion materials (including printed and digital materials)
- Complimentary Wi-fi
Job and Internship Recruitment Requirements:
- Internship positions must be direct hires (no third parties or staffing agencies).
- Unpaid Internships must be approved by an Internship and Career Advisor at Columbia prior to approval for attendance at the fair.
- Internship opportunities must meet the 75-hour internship requirement. NOTE: internships that do not fill the entire 15 week semester are permissible upon review by the Career Center.
- Internship positions cannot be 100% commission or quota based or multi-level marketing plans.
- Companies must adhere to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative action.
