For Your Pleasure is an ongoing multimedia project that investigates 21st-century objectification—perception and treatment of women as objects, usually for sexual gratification by men—through the personal narrative and body of a sole artist. While explicit language and second-person narrative of text implicates readers in objectification of the subject, superimposed silhouettes act as literal erasure. The interactions between text and silhouette force viewers to consider what it means for a person to be reduced to solely a body--an object.
