The college is partnering with Duo Security to implement Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to further strengthen college software and hardware systems. MFA is an additional layer of security on top of user IDs and passwords, Single Sign-On (SSO), or VPN.

Duo has already been rolled out successfully to staff and faculty, and next up is the student rollout. As part of this process, students will need to download the Duo Security app. When you enter your username and password into any of the college systems, Duo will send a message to your smart device prompting a response to gain access. There are no associated data charges.
