AcademicAdvisinghelps students to clarify and take responsibility for their academic and career goals. All undergraduate students have an assigned academic advisor. New students are expected to meet with their academic advisor at least once a semester during their first year. After their first year, students should meet regularly with their academic advisor to develop their graduation plans, review their academic options, and formally declare their major and minor programs. In addition to academicadvising, coaching is also offered to students who wish to receive additional support with study skills, time management, and other success strategies. This office collaborates closely with academic departments and faculty to ensure students receive holistic and appropriate academic support, mentorship, and guidance.
