To receive the Honors Program Graduate distinction at Columbia College Chicago, you must:
- Complete at least 15 credits of Honors courses (those with an 'H' in the course catalog)
- Graduate with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
There is no penalty for completing fewer than 15 credits. And if you don't want to declare Honors, you're welcome to take as many, or as few, Honors classes as you like, as long as you maintain a GPA of 3.5 or greater.
If you've declared for the Honors Program, your Advising Guide in OASIS will automatically track your Honors courses as you take them. If you have questions, ask your college advisor.
You do not need to take an Honors course every semester, but you're welcome to take as many classes as you like and can fit into your schedule.
