Who evaluates transfer courses?
Faculty and staff in the Theatre department are responsible for Theater course transfer decisions. The final decision for all transfer credit is reviewed by Department Chair.

Student asked to bring:
If the Theatre Department has questions about a student’s transfer credit the student may be asked to provide a transcript, a course description (syllabus preferred) and/or participate in an audition/interview with faculty. The Academic Coordinator will contact students if anything is needed.

Timeline:
The Academic Coordinator will respond within two weeks to the student's request and will enter a Course Equivalency, Substitution, or Waiver Form online. Students will see the results of evaluation in their OASIS Advising Guide.

Student will receive:
Students are notified via their Columbia email account when an equivalency towards the major is approved.
