Enrollment and Degree Verifications

A verification is a confirmation of dates of attendance, enrolled status, and degrees earned.  Unlike a transcript, it does not include credit hours or grades. 

Self-Service in OASIS Portal

Students with OASIS access can obtain free enrollment and degree verifications through their OASIS portal .  Log in to the OASIS homepage, select the Students tab, and click the Student Self-Service link in the Transcript Ordering / Enrollment and Degree Verification area on the right side of the page. Your Social Security number must be on record in Oasis to use this service.

To get a verification through Self-Service, click on Obtain an enrollment certificate.  You can print or save this official verification that can be presented to your employer, health insurance agencies, housing authorities, consumer product companies, banks, etc. when you are required to provide official documentation of enrollment.

Students that do not have OASIS access, do not have their social security number in the system, or need a specific document completed should fill out an d submit the Enrollment Verification Request. This form can be e-mailed to registrar@colum.edu or turned in to 600 S Michigan, Suite 611- Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Please include any documents that need to be completed. Processing time is 3-5 business days.

Employers, Search Firms & 3rd Party Degree Verification

The National Student Clearinghouse is our authorized agent for providing enrollment and degree verifications to employers, screening firms, credit card and other companies. Please visit their website or call at (703) 742-4200.
