DARKROOM is MoCP’s renowned benefit auction party featuring premier artworks and one-of-a-kind arts experiences by emerging and established contemporary artists from around the world.

Learn how to properly install 2d artwork in Hokin Gallery. Lead by Stephanie Conaway, Director of Operations at the Museum of Contemporary Photography, you will gain knowledge on proper art handling and installation techniques used by museum staff.

Student reception

Please join MoCP staff and student staff members for a student and faculty reception of the 2026 Darkroom Auction Preview to learn more about the museum's Darkroom fundraiser, how they foster relationships with artists around the world, and the legacy of MoCP at Columbia College Chicago. This reception is open to all current students and is hosted at the Hokin Gallery at 623 S Wabash.
