Lamination Machine is a multimedia exhibition exploring changing consumer relationships and humanistic approaches to the impertinent economy of object value. We provide a space and time to investigate ephemeral relationships to daily objects that often go unnoticed, ignored, or forgotten. The range of mediums present in Lamination Machine references the industrial origins and processes of lamination as a technique and a material study.

Join artist and printmaker Eliana Pinkert to explore alternative methods of printmaking with laminated textures and objects. In this two-hour workshop, you will learn to laminate textural objects and make basic monoprint designs (a la texture rubbings). Attendees will leave with a successful monoprint and the laminated “block” that can be used to reproduce. Armed with the basics of laminating and relief printing introduces new, alternative ways to incorporate printmaking at home. Please bring your own objects, ephemera, and textures to work with! Some natural materials will be provided.
