Statement of Nondiscrimination

In accordance with civil rights legislation and its commitment to a non-discrimination policy, Columbia College Chicago does not discriminate in its admissions, employment, housing, services, or in the educational courses or programs that it operates based on age, gender, race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. It is also a Columbia College Chicago policy to ensure that no qualified student with a disability is denied the benefits of, excluded from participation in, or otherwise subjected to discrimination in any College program or activity.

In response to a request made by a qualified student with a documented disability (see Documentation Guidelines), the College will arrange, at no cost to the student, for the provision of educational auxiliary aids, including sign language interpreters, note-takers, readers, taped textbooks, adaptive software, and other aids necessary to afford all students with disabilities the opportunity to fully participate and to achieve closer to the level of their true potential in Columbia College Chicago programs.
