The Makerspace is a student-centered arts, crafts, and fabrication studio that encourages and supports student creativity outside the traditional classroom setting. In addition to a wide variety of tools, materials, and workshops, the Makerspace offers a large, comfortable, and dynamic space for students to collaborate, prototype, learn new making skills, and practice hobbies. The Makerspace, an extension of the Columbia College Student Organizations and Leadership office, works side by side with students to realize their creative vision.
The Makerspace is free and open to all current Columbia College students. Join us in the Fall and Spring semesters Monday through Friday from 9am – 7pm and Saturday from 12pm – 7pm.
