The Taste of the Great Convergence

Published on Apr 22, 2014

New at Manifest this year, Columbia will be hosting nine local food trucks and several performers in the Taste of Convergence. With the help of some talented students and alumni, we hope to create a festival-like atmosphere that continues to capture the excitement of Manifest.

On the day of Manifest, Wabash will be closed from 9th St. to 11th St and the street will be lined with mouth-watering cuisine. Manifest attendees should prepare themselves for some tough choices, as everything from sliders, burgers, and BBQ, to cupcakes, coffee, and donuts will be available. Some of the participating food trucks include the Fat Shallot, Chicago Lunch Box, Husky Hog BBQ, Beaver’s Coffee and Donuts, and many more.

Not far from all the delicious food choices will be plenty of live entertainment and performances. Support your fellow artists as they dance, draw, beatbox, and showcase their many talents. Get a caricature drawn by one of several animation students or watch Talent Troup’s swirling ribbons, the Taste of Convergence is something you don't want to miss!
