Manifest Spotlight: What's New for 2014?Published on Mar 11, 2014
Every year, thousands of students, faculty, and alumni join together to plan and execute one of the most sacred events that Columbia hosts. From the Great Convergence, to the headliners, to over 100 hundred student showcases, the Columbia community works together every year to put on an even bigger, better Manifest that enlivens the streets of Chicago.
Check out a few new additions and features that are going to make this year’s Manifest the best one yet!
Masters of Flight: Columbia has a student population of nearly 11,000, 500 of which are grad students. In two additional years of study, these grad students have worked tirelessly to create amazing works of art that will be showcased for the public to admire in “Masters of Flight." Work will be showcased the day before Manifest, Thursday, May 15th from 5pm-10pm.
Taste of Convergence: The Great Convergence kicks off the day of art and entertainment every year. What better way to keep the excitement going than by lining Wabash with delicious food trucks, quirky entertainment, and live music? While you enjoy mouth watering cuisine, jam out to some beats from our Club DJ Practicum class, and be wowed by the performances of your fellow Columbians.
Frequency TV: Frequency TV is covering all things Manifest. Check out their spotlight features on Manifest on TVs around campus and all over the Manifest website. For all things Manifest, Frequency TV has got you covered!
