Blood Ball 2015 Nominations

Published on Jan 27, 2015

Columbia is keeping the school dance tradition alive with the Mary Ann Blood Ball. The Blood Ball is an annual celebration in honor of Columbia’s founder Mary Ann Blood.

So if you ever dreamt of being the king or queen of your school, you still have a chance! Columbia is looking for students to nominate themselves for 2015’s Blood Ball King and Queen.

Any student with good standing (2.0 GPA or higher with no holds) can apply, so what are you waiting for?

Here’s how to nominate yourself. It’s simple!

  1. Create a one-minute video stating your name, major and why you would be an awesome King or Queen.
  2. Submit your video with the online form. Videos are accepted until Feb. 13.
  3. Once you’ve submitted your video, it’ll appear on the Blood Ball voting page. Voting lasts from Feb. 16 – Feb. 27.

The Blood Ball is on March 6 from 7–10 p.m. at 1104 S. Wabash. Make sure you dress to impress! Come enjoy some mocktails, refreshments and dancing. Don't miss it!
