Manifest 2015: Volunteer InformationPublished on Apr 13, 2015
Manifest is urban, exciting, and a first of its kind, but it wouldn’t live without Columbia’s extraordinary students and faculty. The easiest way to get involved? Come support your peers and represent the creative community that brings you together.
Want to be a part of something bigger? Check out our volunteer teams and tell us how you can help make Manifest 2015 the best yet. It’ll be an experience that will benefit students across all concentrations!

Confetti crew is all about helping out guests as they navigate their way though the showcases at Manifest. They’ll act as greeters for each destination: answering people’s questions, directing traffic and providing information about what is going on at each location.
Chaos Crew works with Manifest Central, which is basically the central intelligence base for the whole festival. When something comes up (always does), we’ll send a chaos crew member to the right location with any supplies/assistance/pep they may be needing. This is a perfect position for someone who likes to be behind the scenes and is quick to lend a hand.
Creative Crew members will assist the Tic-toc performers for the duration of their piece. Tic-Toc is performance art centered around food (they’ll be performing and serving snacks to guests). Creative crew members should be interested in performance art and not afraid to jump in where needed. Requires food handling.
Convergence crew works in the morning to help organize seniors for the “Walk before the walk” which is the procession from 623 Wabash down the street towards the Big Lot. They’ll also assist any performers organize, get into costume etc. Finally and most importantly we'll need all the help we can get getting the crowd under the big tent to experience the Great Convergence in all its glory. Part crowd wrangling, part production crew.
