Play Grounds: IAM at the Hokin
Senior Work from Interactive Arts & Media

Play Grounds: IAM at the Hokin showcases the work of graduating seniors in the Interactive Arts & Media Department (IAM). The exhibition presents a dynamic range of creative projects using emerging media and technologies—a core practice of Interactive Arts & Media students.

Working with accomplished faculty, IAM students learn the innovative ideas and technologies that shape how people think, communicate, and play in the 21st century.

Play Grounds was mounted in collaboration with the Hokin Project, a gallery management practicum course that provides professional experience for students of all majors. Launched in 2010, the Hokin Project is a student-run collaboration between the Arts, Entertainment & Media Management Department (AEMM) and the Student Affairs / Department of Exhibitions and Performance Spaces at Columbia College (DEPS).
