Adele Henning (HINK): BODY LANGUAGE

BODY LANGUAGE takes the form of a mock flyposting campaign in which Hink encourages the viewer to claim their own language regarding the restriction of one’s physical form. In this exhibition, repetitious blunt wording and elemental body horror are combined to advertise the landscape of a loosely autonomous existence.

Limitations tear us apart; using our voices paste us back together.

Applications Due October 24, 2023 Located on the 1st floor of 33 East Ida B. Wells Drive, C33 Gallery provides an opportunity for Columbia College Chicago’s students to exhibit their work. Applications for solo, two or three person exhibitions are welcome from all current students, regardless of major. Students must be enrolled during the run of the exhibition. Applications are due on or before Monday, October 23, 2023. Accepted applications will be scheduled for the Spring semester of 2024.
