Approved Provider Programs

Columbia students have more than 20 countries to choose from for study abroad! Where will you go?

If you have looked through the exchanges and still want another option for a semester abroad, you might want to look into one of our approved study abroad providers' programs. We currently partner with 3 companies who offer programs throughout the world.

On these programs you will not pay anything to Columbia for the term, though you will remain enrolled as a Columbia student. Instead, you will pay the approved provider directly. Financial Aid does can apply, but any Columbia specific scholarships cannot be used.

If you’re interested in this option, contact the Global Education Office at edabroad@colum.edu. All students planning to apply for an approved study abroad provider program must also apply through Columbia's online application system.

Upcoming Deadlines:

Spring and J-term: November 1st

Summer and Fall: May 15th

Note: You will also have to apply through the approved study abroad provider directly on their website. Their application deadlinese may be earlier or later than Columbia's. You can search through available programs at the approved study abroad provider websites listed below.

Eligibility Requirements:

If you are interested in an international internship through one of these partners then you may still need to go through Columbia's Career Center.
