As a member of our on-campus community, your wellbeing matters to us. This form is designed to offer you a safe, confidential, and low-pressure way to share how things are going during your time in the residence halls.
We understand that it can sometimes feel a little intimidating to reach out directly to your RA or the Housing & Residential Experience (HRE) team. That’s why this form is here — as another option for you to connect, express concerns, or simply check in.
Your responses will be seen only by HRE professional staff — not your RA or other students.
Share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. Whether it’s one thing on your mind or a broader update on your experience, we’re here to listen.

Q. What is Contract Renewal?
A. Contract Renewal is a process in which current residents and students can secure on-campus housing for the upcoming Academic Year (2026-2027)! Students will be able to apply for housing via our online Housing Portal: https://colum.mcrhousing.app/
Q. What is the Timeline for Contract Renewal?
Housing Application Opens February 25, 2026: All currently enrolled students may begin submitting their 2026-2027 housing application starting February 25, 2026, at 11am CST. You must complete your Primary and Secondary Application by March 10 at 12pm to gain access to the Room Selection portion of the process. We encourage you to complete both applications expeditiously to receive an earlier Room Selection Access Time (see below).
Gender Inclusive Housing Room Selection (March 17, 2026): Room Selection for the GIH living community will begin at 10am CST on March 17. Students may select a space in MCR during their assigned Room Selection Access Time, which is determined by the order their completed Secondary Application was submitted. Please understand floors are already designated for GIH and General, so students are not attempting to select overlapping spaces at different room selection timeframes.
General Room Selection (March 31, 2026): Room Selection for General housing will begin at 10am CST on March 31. Students may select a space in MCR during their assigned Room Selection Access Time, which is determined by the order their completed Secondary Application was submitted. Floors are already designated for GIH and General, so students are not attempting to select overlapping spaces at different room selection times.
