Student Relations

The Student Relations office aims to ensure a successful educational experience for all Columbia students. Through collaboration with staff and faculty members, families, and the greater Chicago community, Student Relations provides support to students with a wide variety of concerns and challenges. Student Relations staff may serve as clinical supports, advocates for students in crisis, and liaisons for students who require additional resources at Columbia or within the city of Chicago. Student Relations reinforces students’ personal and professional growth at Columbia by fostering their individuality, self-esteem, and self-confidence.  As students face and overcome challenges, Student Relations strives to enhance their ingenuity, their ability to problem-solve, and their understanding of themselves.  Student Relations also develops campus workshops to promote health education, which facilitates the well-being of the entire College community.  Student Relations is wholly committed to helping all students achieve a healthy and meaningful life.
