Mission Statement:

The Student Government Association of Columbia College Chicago represents the student voice and endeavors to construct a more perfect union. It serves as a liaison between students and faculty, staff and administration in order to ensure the welfare of our unique and diverse art and communication community.  Through leadership and strong representation, it strives to provide students with opportunities to grow academically, artistically, professionally and personally.

Want to get involved?

  1. You can become a Senator to represent the voices of peers in your community!
  2. You can attend SGA's weekly Tuesday evening Senate Meetings as a Student Representative
    • You do not need to be a senator to make your voice heard in SGA! Simply show up to any weekly meetings, learn what is happening around campus, and have a chance to share your experience with peers.
  3. You can participate in SGA's events throughout the year
    • From fun community events to Senator and Department Collaborative Townhalls, there are so many opportuntities to make connections with other students, staff, and faculty.
    • Stay updated on events by following SGA's Engage Portal page and Instagram
