The Dean of Students Office is committed to your success!

The Dean of Students portfolio provides comprehensive support services for most aspects of a student's life outside of the classroom. The DOS oversees the offices of Housing & Residential Experience, Office of Equity Issues, Student Assistance and Community Standards, Services for Students with Disabilities, the Center for Student Wellbeing, and the TimelyCare platform.

While the Dean of Students Office has no oversight over academic matters, we handle a variety of non-academic issues including student misconduct, basic needs, and are dedicated to making Columbia's cultural and educational experiences outside the classroom both vibrant and enriching.
